Canoe Trail Trips
Foyle Canoe Trail
Stretching over 53km from the start of the River Foyle to the Atlantic Ocean, the Foyle Canoe Trail dips in and out of both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. From Lifford, this unique trail runs through rural countryside, the historic city of Londonderry or Derry, along Lough Foyle’s varied coastline to the bustling seaside town of Moville. Paddlers will enjoy a mix of water conditions, from flat water to sea lough and - since the trail is tidal - the river section can even be paddled upstream!
Just Kayak Activity Centre can offer guide trips along the Foyle Canoe Trail in many different crafts to suit you and your friends and family.Contact Us to arrange a trip on this breath taking Canoe Trail.

East Inishowen Sea
The East Inishowen Sea Kayak Trail runs around the coastline of the Inishowen peninsula, from the outskirts of the walled city of Londonderry or Derry, along the eastern side of this north Donegal peninsula to Malin Head, the most northerly point on the Irish mainland. Five nautical miles (NM) to the northeast lies Inishtrahull, a long deserted island. The trip to “the island” runs across Inishtrahull Sound, a stretch of sea exposed to the Atlantic swell and strong, complex tidal streams sweeping around Malin Head. An interesting submarine feature in the sound, dropping to 90 metres of water, is the Inishtrahull Trench. From the relative shelter of Lough Foyle to an Atlantic shore, the Inishowen Trail offers exploration of caves and off-shore islands, surf kayaking, harbour paddles and wildlife.
